Hi everyone - how do you like my new look? My previous site was having so many problems that I decided it was time to switch. With the help of my amazing techno son, I will be recreating my new site one post at a time. This may take a while but it will be worth the work. So - keep checking and I hope to be up to speed again in a week or two.

Our garden has exploded again this year. I’m giving away plants by the buckets and bags. Neighbors, friends and anyone else who’ll take them. Our cedar hedge is enormous and we’re hoping to have it trimmed any day now. We’ve had beautiful weather up until now and we’re back in long sleeves and jackets! Could this be the effects of global warming? Anyway, the May garden photos are posted in yet another slide show. In many of the pages you can click on the small pictures to get a better look. As you can see, we love to have friends enjoy the beauty of nature with us. If you live near us, please do come by for a Kodak moment amongst the ferns, or the hostas, or the lilies . . . O boy - here it is June 4 and I’m doing May posting. May was a busy month but the highlight was on May 13. Not only was that Mother’s Day but it was Irene’s 27th birthday. She was born on a Tuesday but every few years her birthday falls on Mother’s Day and that makes it so special. So the Chu clan gathered together to celebrate the following: Mother’s Day, Irene’s birthday, Alice’s birthday (May 19 - Eddie’s sister) and our nephew Donald’s visit from “down under” in Sydney! It was a fun time together with only Irene LeGay, and Pauline and Greg and Sarah and the boys missing.
As usual I have posted some pictures in a slide show. Half of these pics were taken by Eddie and the other half by Donald who sent them to me via email - thanks doc! The music playing is by Irene and Gord, called “Happy Sounding Song”. So - enjoy the show by clicking HERE.
