The day was Saturday, June 24, 2006. The place, Tarpon Springs, Florida. I was able to go home for a long weekend to attend the wedding of my cousin, Cynthia, to Bob Fowler. Eddie was asked to speak at our church on June 4. He spoke on the Kingdom of God. You can actually hear his message if you click here. Meanwhile, last night we had the chance to hear Eddie’s cousin, Amy, give a recital of opera/folk/art/sacred music. Amy is moving to Vancouver in a few weeks so it was especially nice to hear her sing again before she leaves. I remember when she came to Canada in the early 80’s at only 15 years of age. We will certainly miss her at family gatherings and we wish her the best as she settles down in a new community at the other end of the country. We love you, Amy!
