This year we had a very early start to our gardening season. Most of our perennial’s survived our mild winter and some look like they are about a month early in growth. I hope that means we have an extra month of gardening time. The birds are back and can empty the bird feeder in a day. This little mourning dove is still too young to be afraid of me. I haven’t planted the impatiens yet but I hope to tomorrow night if the weather is good. We had a lot of rain today so couldn’t do much. We still need to straighten the arbor - or tilt the camera when taking pictures!

Eddie and I had a great time at Suzie & Tom’s wedding on Saturday, May 20, 2006. Suzie is the daughter of our dear friend, Carol Thompson. It was a very windy and cold day. You never can tell what the weather will be like in May. We had a lovely time and were honored to be present at this wonderful occasion. To view some wedding pictures please click here.
We had a great time together on Friday, May 12, 2006, as we celebrated Irene’s 26th birthday. We each drove 103 km to meet at Applebee’s in Cambridge, Ontario. (Irene and Gordon from London and the rest of us from Toronto) We made more wonderful memories . . .
